About me
FPV is not an isolated discipline, but a combination of technical reliability, precise flight skill, and a refined cinematic eye for motion, composition, and narrative.
My work supports production teams, agencies, and commercial clients who rely on FPV drone footage to dynamically visualize movement, subjects, and spaces.
I started building and flying FPV drones more than nine years ago, at a time when FPV was still in its early stages. Back then, flying meant building everything from scratch — from soldering electronics and understanding power systems to maintaining a 3D printer and designing custom parts in CAD. Today, ready-to-fly drones are increasingly available. However, the true difference becomes apparent on set — when a drone needs to be repaired under time pressure or when custom-built solutions are required to achieve specific shots.
During my studies as an engineer, I developed a deep technical understanding of electronics, mechanics, and system design. This allows me to approach FPV drones with an engineering mindset from the very beginning, with a strong focus on reliability and performance.
In addition to my FPV work, I work as an engineer in the commercial drone industry, focusing on larger-scale aerial systems. I transfer established engineering practices and operational standards from these platforms directly to my FPV fleet.
In parallel, I built a strong foundation in photography and videography. From early on, I experimented extensively with analog photography and later worked as a videographer, primarily on dance projects. This background gave me a solid understanding of light, camera systems, set design, editing workflows, and color grading — and how movement, framing, and timing interact within a shot.
Over time, these two paths naturally merged into what is now known as FPV filmmaking. Today, I combine more than nine years of flight experience with a deep technical understanding and a filmmaker’s eye for movement, composition, and timing.
